The café features tables adapted by Gamper from a design by Arne Jacobsen, and produced with the generous help of Montana; as well as new stools especially designed by Gamper for Charlottenborg.
Gamper’s approach to the commission honours Charlottenborg’s design history while bringing it up to date, and the installation also features customised versions of some of the café’s previous fittings: including Hans Wegner’s Wishbone chairs; and Poul Henningsen’s Charlottenborg lamps.
